This course has been designed for corporate bankers and investment officers to deal with the increasingly volatile trading conditions that client companies are currently facing due to the post Covid economy, global supply chain blockages and the effects of the War in Ukraine. The principal objectives of the course are to provide delegates (as described below), with a comprehensive overview of the importance of and need for the assessment of how management should identify, assess and mitigate business risks in order to maximise potential future cash flow generation and company value.
The principal objective of this workshop is to provide delegates with a developed understanding of the methods and tools that can be used in analysing a business from a holistic perspective. We will analyse all the principal business areas that can assist business in building a successful strategy to exploit market opportunities and to succeed in the business environment. Part of the course will focus on key financial as well as other business drivers that management can use to provide strategic direction to the development of the company’s business plan. The delegates will also learn the importance that strategic risk can pose to a client company and how to work with the client to mitigate that risk. Included in the analysis of strategy will be a development of how companies can promote their critical success factors to achieve strategic advantage. The workshops will use a range of case study companies to provide the core learning tools for this business analysis course.
We will cover areas that are posing particular financing difficulties to corporate clients because of post supply chain blockages exacerbated by the war in Ukraine, particularly in the food and agribusiness industry.
In response to these current problem areas this course will focus on the following areas:
- Gain practical skills in screening enterprises from a business risk perspective and how it affects client corporate risk and its ability to generate future cash flows;
